Cat and dog insurance products created by the UK's longest established online pet insurer are to be packaged as a white label offering to insurers as well as retailers selling affinity-based insurance.
Hampshire-based Healthy Pets Insurance, the biggest independent cat and dog insurer, and which sold its first online policies before even Google was founded, says the product is ready now.
"This will be an extremely simple-to-install and activate product, sitting within a frame on a brand or business own website. Application and quote will be made and provided within that frame, so the customer never leaves the lead brands web page," said Mark Effenberg, founder of Healthy Pets Insurance.
"The policy will be fulfilled by Healthy Pets, with an accompanying form of words in communication with the customer which explains the process.
"We're now in a perfect position to be able to offer this product to insurers who either have an outdated or expensive current pet insurance offering, or want to introduce cat or dog insurance as part of their portfolio.
"It is a completely ready-to-go product, and which will be administered and managed by our team, meaning, effectively, a new pet insurance offering could be launched and operated at minimal cost.
