Healthy Pets Goes Green for ACT

Today Petersfield-based pet insurer Healthy Pets Ltd went green to help launch the Ardonagh Community Trust (ACT) and be part of the 6,000-strong Ardonagh family to fundraise until they were green in the face.

The Ardonagh Group said "Whether it's clients, colleagues or the local community, looking out for those around us comes naturally to the people of The Ardonagh Group. With the creation of this family of businesses comes an important question... how can we use the spirit, resilience and unique perspective of Ardonagh to make a real impact on causes and communities close to the hearts of our own people?

We're formally launching a registered charity to do just that The Ardonagh Community Trust, or ACT, as we like to call it... [It] will be dedicated to causes connected to our businesses."

Healthy Pets ran a series of green themed events to raise funds for ACT, these included:

Shanine Collins, Head of Healthy Pets, said that "Healthy Pets has always been a company interested in giving back to the community and jumped at the chance to get involved in raising money for ACT."

The Healthy Pets team documented their green-themed day with regular posts on their social media profiles, connecting with the rest of the Ardonagh Group via the #GoGreenforACT hashtag. Full details of the amounts raised will be announced at a later date.
