Sutty the Spaniel cross breed has become a little miracle and a hero on the mountains, after surviving for 10 days on a tiny ledge without food or water.
The terrible circumstances unfolded when his owner fell 600ft in Snowdonia, leaving 14 year old dog Sutty to save his owner's life by barking and attracting attention.
As the RAF helicopter came to rescue the 60 year old man from Wolverhampton, Sutty ran off scared leaving little hope of rescue teams finding him.
10 days after the incident, two climbers heard whimpering and luckily found Sutty sheltering on a tiny ledge in a nest he had built. The little dog was carried to safety in a rucksack and has now been re-united with the owner's daughter.
Sutty is apparently in good condition and his owner is still in hospital recovering from the fall.
