Breed History – Also known as a Russian Wolfhound, the Borzoi belongs to the same line as Greyhounds, being a member of the sighthound family. They were bred especially to pursue game, and as such are extremely fast dogs. Used primarily in Russia as hunting dog, since the 1917 Revolution the breed has spread across the world. (more…)
